(It's not -- Chris Evans is the Human Torch). Well, I thought he (Reed) was great. Kevin pointed out that Reed never got his "I'm the leader" moment, but I don't fault the actor for that. Chiklis was great. Torch was great too for what the director wanted him to be be. I actually thought Alba did the best she could, but --- this sounds ridiculous -- should have had different makeup and hair for the job. She looked like a teenager's (i.e. the Torch's) fantasy, not the wife of the smartest man in the world. Is Chris Evans the guy who played Reed Richards? (It’s not — Chris Evans is the Human Torch). He his "rockstar" attitude was a little extreme and while he had some great moments throughout the movie and his character was more on par with the comic than Sue or Reed's, his cockiness was a little too annoying. At the end of the day you think Johnny is the type of kid who can get his hair mussed up by Ben Grimm well all is well and done. Not this guy. And IMO, Chris Evans didn't have to stretch too much to get into that role. But that's another story. I couldn’t agree more with your assement on the Torch.
