I don’t want to see any more cat pictures, but I DO want to see more cat-related comments!

I’m spearheading a grassroots campaign to make this happen. Hopefully by autumn, 100% of new comments in Will’s blog will mention cats.

Is it too mean to ask for a full entry from Linda? As a longitme reader, occasional poster, I want to know more about her. Why does she love your cats so much? Of all the web sites on our famed interwebs that she could spew cat-loving venom, why yours? Does Linda exist? Is she some addled, medication-free version of Will? For God’s sake Linda, I need to know!

I tried to add a category called Famous Bow-Tie Wearers, but Wikipedia said it was not academic enough.

Why am I not surprised that all these “comedians” would post snarky comments while hiding behind fake names?

Also, Linda, one could argue that taking each post and comment and putting “cat” in the title is a form of snarky commenting, so there’s no sense in putting someone ELSE down for their snarky comments.

It’s like a Philip K. Dick novel where everyone THINKS their Linda but discovers halfway through that they are in fact a clone of Linda. And also addicted to speed. And at the mercy of an oppressive government. Run by a girl.

I prefer “Suncat Cities” to “Sunken Kitties”, the latter of which suggests the drowning of felines. “Suncat Cities” suggests a metropolis of cats leisurely lounging in the warmth of the sun.

You, Will, should defend what I (the REAL real Linda) write here for at least two reasons: 1) because my cat comments are (certainly in comparison to all these Linda imposters) sophisticated, intelligent and entertaining and 2) because we’ve been close personal friends for many years.
