Can one freddy feature length films from 1982? If so, consider “The Boogens”: “Afraid of not knowing . . . Afraid to find out . . . After 100 years someone has reawakened ‘The Boogens’ .”
Real old-media of you to talk about the song without posting it, Hines.
REAL old-media. (*spit.*)
Fair enough, DC. Added.
OK Go recorded a nice cover of that song for The Future Soundtrack of America.
nice. Just stole a copy from the interwebs.
all i know of the zombies is ‘time of the season’. which is awesome, i listened to it this morning, complete with appropriate finger snapping and hip-swaying in the elevator. i should check out more stuffs!
The Zombies also did “She’s Not There” which is a classic.
Good idea, I’m going to listen to The Zombies and The Kinks as this day winds down…that style seems to carbonate my mood….on a Monday.
thanks.
I LOVE that song. It was played at my friend’s wedding as the recessional and I liked it so much I suggested it to my other friends for their wedding and ended up singing it as their recessional. Great, great song!
I love this song, too. It’s pretty special.
It’s true—the album (Odessey and Oracle) is one of the best albums of all time. I’m glad you like it, Hinesy!
I used this song at the very end of the last episode of my webseries “Sexual Intercourse: American Style” starring the talented Will Hines:

I like “Care of Cell 44″…. It’s about loving a girl who’s in prison.
