Surfing for the answers (which I’ve found) led me to the Robot Hall of Fame, which includes both real and ficitonal robots. This is a good time, people!

I loved this also… when I heard about LAST MONTH, Hines.
My favorite is from the title tag of the page, “Gort! Klaatu barada nikto!”
It’s from the film, “The Day the Earth Stood Still”. Here’s its explanation:

The “Plastic Pal Who’s Fun To Be With” is Douglas Adams’s Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, the the context of a marketing slogan thought up by the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation. Go stick your head in a pig.
And I’m pretty sure the second one is from Blade Runner. But it’s been a while.
