A Total Stranger Walked In After the Vampire Movie Finished
Watched “Let the Right One In” on Netflix streaming. Enjoyed it very much, and was mildly creeped when it ended. But the worst was about to happen! So it’s 2:30am and my apartment is dark. Then I heard someone come in the front of my apartment building — not unusual, but because of the vampire movie I stood up to listen. I heard the footsteps come up the stairs, and I started thinking “what would i do if this were a vampire coming in?” Then I heard my DOORKNOB TURN and it opened. I half yelped and then said in a shaky voice trying to be firm “HELLO.” The person apologized — it was a girl who meant to go to my neighbor’s door. I was reaching for a heavy book — my first choice of weapon, and a poor one at that.
So that made the whole movie scarier. Scary movie, that Let The Right One In.
Will then immediately IMed me, which calmed him down. I am to Will Hines what chamomile tea is to many others.

We established the idea of heavy-book-as-a-weapon during an invocation in the workshop on Friday. Will Hines, you are very susceptible to things you watch.

That’s why I keep wine bottles around. So I can bash vampires with a wine bottle.

You left out the scariest part, which was that she started bleeding because you hadn’t technically invited her in.

I would have never slept that night. It would have ruined me. Also LOCK YOUR DOOR!!! Where do you think you’re living? Good Lord. Now I will probably worry about you every night and not be able to sleep.

LOVE this movie. Why wasn’t your door locked? You looking to meet interesting new people?

My door just happened to be unlocked. No plan or agenda in regards to that! I think my subconscious just wanted to scare the crap out of me.
