Spite presents: Brian's "retirement" Dear Spite: I'm Back Brian, who retired exactly seven days ago, returns. January 27, 1999 Dear Spite Readership: Retirement has given me a chance to re-evaluate my life, and I've come to the realization that I don't have one. I miss my Spite family and so I am announcing my return to the establishment. It is time for me to write again. Another reason is the Lawn Darts League lock-out. It doesn't seem as if the season is going to get under way, so I now have time again to concentrate on Spite. Also, I wasn't happy with the direction Spite took after my departure. I've been silent until now, since I had renounced my right to critcize when I left the staff. But now that I've returned, I plan to help my brothers to get Spite back to its glory of a week ago. We shall once again rule over the web. In conclusion it is good to be back, and I'm looking forward to writing again. That is, if I ever think of any ideas.
