Spite Hate Mail: Regarding Our Year-Old Stop Hanson Piece (Editor's Note: One year ago, I wrote a piece saying that the song "MMMbop" by the pop group Hanson would soon become annoying. I said this because I had heard "MMMbop" three times within 19 hours -- which I thought was surprisingly frequent. However, Hanson, three clean-cut lads from the midwest, apparently has a huge devoted legion of young female fans, each of whom sent angry EMails to me, berating me for my criticism. One girl compared me to Hitler. Weeks passed, and the fuss died down. Then, someone wrote a letter about Hanson a few weeks ago, and the girls are back in force, defending their beloved idols: Taylor, Isaac and some other kid whose name I've forgotten. Whatever. Some of the recent letters are below.) Man I feel sorry for you, you must have one heck of a boring life to have time to sit around, drooling over the key board making fun of people just trying to have fun and entertain people. LOL......LOL.....I have some extremly complecated directions for you, ready? OK, turn it off, got that so far?, if there is a song you don't like. I do it all the time with spice girls music videos and music on the radio. just take my advice then go down to Burger King and see if you can get a job. OK. Then mabey, just mabey, you won't have to waste you time and mind on making fun of people. you take care now. Oh! Tay's girl what do you know about them who cares if their song sucks to you maybe but to us that is teen aged girls we llike it and as spice gilrs go i would not even go there they rule and so does hanson hanson especially tay who is soooooooooooooooooo sexy well g/g
